Fine jewelry is something that neither of us really owned for a long time, but something we always loved and treasured as something aspirational for us. Now, as we have been “true” adults in the financial independence sense for two years, we’ve reached the milestone where we get to enjoy life’s luxuries – jewelry included!
This will mainly be a photo dump post because we loved capturing this collection in film so we just want to share everything in its glittery, gorgeous glory. What we love so much about Jenny Bird as a brand is that their pieces are so effortlessly classic and cool, but also incredibly high quality.
I (Hannah) am a person that honestly puts my jewelry through the ringer a bit, which is why it took me so long to start investing in quality pieces. I just assumed I would end up ruining them. But after buying some expensive rings from a handmade market in summer of 2019, I realized that washing hands with jewelry and wearing it in the shower is not a death sentence when what you have is quality. Is it recommended? Nope. However, I am not going to sit here and lie to you all. I have been wearing the same anklet from Jenny Bird non-stop for over three months – and no, I have not taken it off to shower, or when I wear socks and boots, or any other scenario for which someone who is meticulous might take it off. But still it sits gold and shiny on my left ankle, as pretty as the day I put it on. That’s why I honestly don’t think I’ll ever buy inexpensive jewelry again. It just ends up being wasteful, while my quality jewelry has become a part of my routine styling. I can wear my staple pieces over and over again without them degrading at all.
But anyways, jewelry tangent aside, here is our shoot featuring Jenny Bird’s Toni Collection.
