It is no secret that we struggle to eat 3 full meals a day.
Let’s not judge! We’re just two busy bee’s. If you can eat three full meals a day even while busy, you may be thinking “i’m busy too and I can still eat three meals a day.” Honestly, we strive to be just like you. The truth of the matter is, we forget sometimes. We don’t forget that food exists, we just forget that time exists.
We like to sleep until we absolutely have to get up and go.
During the weekdays, we’re usually out of the house by 10:00 a.m which means we’re up at roughly 9:00 a.m. I can’t possibly bear to be awake any sooner than 9:00 a.m. Yes, I’m definitely one of those people who can get up and ready in about 50 minutes flat. This often means that I don’t prioritize breakfast. I know, many say it’s the most important meal of the day, but life happens.
Hannah Is slightly better than I am at keeping up with her daily meals.
Hannah is more of a morning person, but her routine still usually excludes breakfast (and sometimes lunch too). With getting in all three of our meals being a daily challenge for us, we’ve turned to our friends who have the solution to our problem.

I have oral allergy syndrome, which means I have an allergic reaction in my mouth to many fresh fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Because of this allergic reaction, I am limited to the fruits and vegetables that I can eat. This makes strawberry banana smoothies a classic staple in our household.
Our Classic Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe ft. Queal.
- 5 scoops of Queal’s Super Strawberry powder
- 2 cups of strawberries. (frozen works great as well)
- 1 banana, peeled.
- 1 cup of milk. (Almond milk is great too)
- 1/3 cup of orange juice.
- 1 cup of Ice.
- 1 tablespoon honey, if needed to sweeten.
Add all of the ingredients into a blender, and blend until smoothly combined. Serve immediately.
(If the smoothie is too thick, add more milk. If it is too thin, add more fruit and or ice.)
We love Queal for smoothies, but it’s perfect on its own too!
